LESS THAN A MONTH TO GO TO EIMA Digital Preview! GB wins the “Segnalazione 20-21” award

GB will be exhibiting in the Digital Preview of Eima International, the most important international event for agricultural machinery!

With many exhibitions being downsized due to the emergency, Eima International has also reviewed its programmes and chosen to postpone the physical event to February 2021, but despite all this it has rolled up its sleeves and organised a Digital Preview for the autumn.
This “special edition” will be completely virtual, and is scheduled to take place from 11 to 15 November.

GB will not only be among the exhibitors, but has also participated in and won the “Segnalazione 20-21” award assigned to all devices featuring original improvements to already manufactured and patented products, with the “Predictive Maintenance” project. The prize-giving will take place during the February event, where it will be possible to view the project in a dedicated area inside the exhibition centre. We would like to thank the Eima International technical committee for this great satisfaction! It is a wonderful achievement by Team GB and DISMI Unimore – University of Modena and Reggio Emilia!

Diagnostics and Predictive Maintenance

The event “Diagnostica e Manutenzione Predittiva” (Diagnostics and Predictive Maintenance) will be held at the Tecnopolo in Reggio Emilia on Thursday, 1st October from 4-6 p.m.

How to increase equipment availability and reduce machine stoppages in order to guarantee optimum performance?

This is one of the key topics which will be covered, and which represents a daily challenge for GB. The company has, indeed, been developing a predictive maintenance project with DISMI for the last few months, giving life to a dynamic design partnership which is valuable and productive for both parties.

After an introductory speech from Alberto Rocchi, President of the Club Meccatronica, Giovanni Mottola from DISMI – University of Modena and Reggio Emilia will talk about predictive maintenance for industry using vibration analysis, followed by numerous other speeches on the topic. Wrapping up the event, at 5:45 p.m., will be a discussion forum with the speakers listening to businesses’ requirements.

You will find a QR Code at the top right to sign up for the event, which you can attend either in person or remotely. Specify your attendance in the registration NOTES.

GB ServiceLab signs up to the Green Deal to get Italy back to work

GB ServiceLab has joined the group of companies and entrepreneurs signing up to the Green Deal to get the country running again.

“We are convinced that a new Green Deal is the right direction to take for a stronger and long-lasting recovery to make the most of Italy’s potential: high-quality production, increasingly green, inseparable from the move towards decarbonisation and circular production, distribution and consumption models; areas in which it has reached levels of excellence, such as in waste recycling, the pillar of the circular economy, energy efficiency and renewable energy sources which are of strategic importance in the energy transition towards a neutral climate model; our sustainable agriculture model, required for food safety and other activities of the regenerative bioeconomy and able to revitalise marginal areas and old brownfield sites; those in cities, to be relaunched with a huge green urban regeneration program; those of the important natural capital required for numerous ecosystemic services and for relaunching various economic activities such as tourism; the transition to low emissions and alternative fuels through decarbonised, electric and shared mobility; digital innovation, which can contribute to improving work, study and healthcare while reducing our ecological footprint.”

We believe that a new Green Deal is the innovative route to take to relaunch Italy.

GB ServiceLab is proud to consolidate its partnership with DISMI (Department of Sciences and Methods for Engineering) at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia.

The key aspect of the partnership will be predictive analysis, a strategic market driver which is part of the company DNA and which marries perfectly with GB’s customer-centric approach: MONITOR – ANALYSE – PLAN – PREDICT – EXECUTE, thanks to system digitisation tools.

The University working group will provide the company with analysis capacity and a dynamic approach, a value which GB strongly believes in.

EIMA changes date and doubles in size

The huge International Agricultural and Gardening Machinery Exhibition has responded to the health emergency and moved its 44th edition from mid November 2020 to February 2021. The November date will not be completely abandoned however, but is rather being changed to a digital mega-event, representing a genuine innovation in the history of exhibitions for this sector.

“EIMA Digital Preview”, being held from 11-15 November 2020, will be the first agricultural machinery event in the world to be held entirely using a digital platform and technology, while the traditional event will be postponed to 3-7 February 2021.

GB ServiceLab will be “exhibiting” at both editions, previewing the initial developments from its innovative project in partnership with the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia – Department of Sciences and Methods for Engineering, for predictive maintenance and diagnostics on hydraulic systems.

You will be able to follow all the developments over the next few months on our social media channels. #StayTuned #GBServiceLab
